Direct From Italy is officially part of the Wine Tourism Hub, the first Italian ecosystem entirely dedicated to the development of wine tourism and the enhancement of hospitality in wine businesses.

An alliance born to address an increasingly concrete need: transforming wine tourism experiences into direct, effective, and sustainable commercial relationships, especially with international customers.

Our entry into the Hub marks an important step in the wine tourism value chain: the autonomous and compliant management of direct-to-consumer (D2C) international sales—an aspect often underestimated or handled superficially, posing risks for both wineries and end customers.

Direct From Italy’s entry into the Wine Tourism Hub brings more than just technology: it brings experience, vision, and specialized know-how that translates into tangible support for wineries.

Our team of experts works alongside wineries to help them understand and implement the correct practices for managing international D2C sales, guiding them through customs regulations, tax systems, logistical constraints, and the expectations of international customers.

With Direct From Italy, the Hub gains a key asset: customs compliance support for international shipping. In today’s era of experiential and conscious tourism, this is a component that can no longer be overlooked.

Our role is twofold: on one hand, to provide accessible and secure technology for managing D2C sales; on the other, to guide wineries on a path of awareness, ensuring that every direct sale is also an act of responsibility and added value.

Our first event together: Vinitaly Tourism 2025

Just a few weeks after our official entry, we had the opportunity to take part in our first event alongside the other members of the Wine Tourism Hub: the panel organized for Vinitaly Tourism 2025.

An engaging and thought-provoking discussion that focused on one of the most pressing topics for wineries: how to capitalize on the hospitality experience to build lasting relationships with international visitors.

For us at Direct From Italy, it was the first official opportunity to share a platform with our Hub partners — but more importantly, it marked a tangible first step toward building a new approach to wine tourism: more conscious, more complete, and more aligned with the real needs of wineries.
